There has been a lot of buzz around WPX hosting. Mathew Woodward claimed that WPX is the fastest hosting that he experienced whereas Tom from Onlinemediamasters says that the claim was just a marketing gimmick.

We recently tested WPX Hosting and We found that it is really faster than any other shared hosting. But the claim that it is the fastest hosting in the world is not true. WPX hosting is miles behind Rocket.net and Cloudways in terms of speed.

Mathew Woodward did not include Cloudways and Rocket.net in his testing. Otherwise, the result could have been different.

The good thing about WPX is that they use Lite Speed Server, however, they recommend using WPX CDN which has hardly about 20+ POPs. On top of that, WPX CDN does not support dynamic caching.

So, please use Cloudflare even if you are on WPX. Use Cloudflare APO or the Super Page Cache For Cloudflare plugin to enable full page caching. That will drastically improve the speed.

Talking about the plans, all plans are fairly priced, considering they come under premium web hosting. The resource allocation is decent too.

Email hosting is available for free with all plans. The support is good too. WPX claims that their support responds in less than 30 seconds which seems to be true during our interaction with the support teams.

One other thing that may go against WPX is that they have only 3 data centers. WPX says that their CDN has 20+POPs to serve the content nearest to your targeted location, but still data center makes a lot of difference in speed.
